On Tuesday, I had shrimp and andouille paella for lunch. “What is that you’re eating?" one of my co-workers asked.

“Freshly,” I responded. Because the meals smell so good, this is a question I get often.

I began my Freshly subscription in November. Before that, I'd tried other meal-delivery services like Blue Apron and Hello Fresh. While those services may have eliminated my need to buy groceries that week, I didn’t always like the ingredients in each meal and I still had to cook the food.

Comparatively, I'm always satisfied with the meals I get from Freshly and it helps me cut back on my meal prep efforts.

Freshly customers can choose from a menu of 30 meals, with new meals added frequently. In just the past few weeks they’ve added the grilled chicken risotto, pesto turkey meatballs, and chicken cacciatore, to name a few.

I can change my meals every week or skip a week if I need to. My only complaint is that I have to break down the packaging—three ice packs, two cushioning bags, and the cardboard box—for my recycling every week.

Otherwise, Freshly has made my life so much easier, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and convent lunch or dinner option. If you like what you've read in this review, get $40 off your first order by using my referral code.
